You know that thing where you start typing an address into your browser's address field? You know, the thing where it auto completes and tries to guess the page you're going to visit. I use it a lot. For example, if I want to look at the Guardian I know that all I have to do is type g into teh address bar and http://www.guardian.co.uk/ will be the first option - so if I want to go to the Guardian I just type g, press the down arrow, and hit enter.

I've been involved in Oxford Indymedia for some time, and had many chats with other people involved in many aspects of citizen journalism. I would like to document top tips for beginners so they can create their own hard hitting media. My idea at the moment is to try and come up with 10 top tips (more might be too hard to remember), and then think of a way of promoting these tips.

I've been playing around with graphics. I normally use the GIMP, but wondered what would happen if I used OpenOffice presentation. I was happily surprised at how easy it was to hack together two images.
